Where travellers come from
In July 2026, 97% of Marrakech's international passengers came from Europe. The two busiest routes are Paris-Orly and Paris-CDG, ahead of London and Madrid: mostly French, British and Spanish guests, best addressed in their own language.

Method and sources
- Air traffic: monthly statistics from ONDA (Morocco's national airports office) for Marrakech-Menara airport, as published by ONDA and reported by the MAP news agency. A month's figures are usually available 4 to 6 weeks later.
- When a month is not published on its own, it is calculated from official year-to-date totals and marked "calculated". ONDA sometimes slightly revises its figures: the sum of the months may differ by a few passengers from published totals.
- Busy periods: official French school holiday calendar (French Ministry of Education) and organisers' announcements.
- Air traffic measures visitor numbers to the city, not the occupancy of a given home. To estimate what your property could earn, use our estimator.
